Black Population of Frisco
This is the next “Super-Suburb” in the making. With a 400% growth rate over 10 years Frisco is attempting to outdo its neighbor to the south (Plano). In 2003 Frisco welcomed its own minor league baseball team, the RoughRiders at their new city owned Dr. Pepper/Seven Up Ballpark. The city is currently putting the final touches on a 20,000 seat stadium for the major league soccer team Dallas Burn. The last few years have been good to the city with major retail popping up all over including Ikea and one of the largest malls in North Texas. The real estate market here is booming and prices are still good. outside of the upscale developments, you can get more house for your money here than in other nearby burbs.
